Overview

Lapsed ("the App") is a days since tracker app developed by an independent developer. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

Data you provide: Items you create (names, categories, completion dates), app settings (theme, accent colour), and any data you choose to sync.

Automatically collected: Anonymous usage analytics (via Google Analytics) including page views, feature usage, and crash reports. We do not collect personally identifiable information through analytics.

Cloud Sync (Supabase)

If you enable cloud sync, your item data is stored securely on Supabase servers. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Your account is protected by row-level security — only you can access your data.

Purchases (RevenueCat)

Subscription purchases are processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. We do not have access to your payment information. RevenueCat receives an anonymous user identifier to track your subscription status.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, the App uses local notifications on your device. Notification data is not transmitted to any server.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the App and website are used. This helps us improve features and fix issues. Analytics data is anonymised and aggregated. You can opt out of analytics in your device settings.

Data Retention

Your item data is retained for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days. Analytics data is retained in anonymised, aggregated form.

Children's Privacy

Lapsed is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or website.
